Ready Set Drone

We have reviewed many budget drones, but most low end models don't have a 3 axis mechanical gimbal. The Ruko F11 Pro 2 is more expensive than the $100 to $300 range, and it DOES have a 3 axis gimbal, so the footage is smooth and free from jitters.

In this video, we experience this drone as any beginner would, and things go well, as well as poorly (yes, we crashed....TWICE!).

Have you noticed that your DJI NEO seems to accelerate wildly while using the RC Motion 3 and flying in low lit areas? Also, the vision sensors seem to cause the NEO to lose GPS satellite reception.

DJI replied to us that we should fly in an open area, which we try in this video. Also, we make a discovery as to what exactly is making it seem like the NEO goes crazy!

A few have mentioned the tape causing the increase in altitude and has got us thinking that Kelly's initial thought that the tape caused it was indeed correct, despite the helmet test we did. The other two issues (1. making the Motion 3's throttle extra sensitive in the dark, and 2. loss of GPS when vision system isn't working).***

The DJI NEO goes absolutely nuts in the dark when flying in normal or sport mode, but in other situations, it's fine. In this video, we show the DJI NEO in different situations flying with different controllers to see how it behaves in the dark. DJI only recommends flying the NEO in well lit spaces, but if you are going to try flying the NEO in dark areas, there are some things you can do to improve your odds of a successful flight! Watch to learn how you can fly the DJI NEO in the dark.
