From SimScale:
Starting from Today Students, Professionals and Makers from all over the world are invited to join SimScale’s global drone optimization challenge. Participants are encouraged to improve the performance of a 3D printed mini quadcopter by modifying the initial design and prove their design decisions using the web-based SimScale engineering simulation platform.
Besides free access to SimScale and its wide features for simulation, participants will also be provided with hands-on tutorials, resources and support.
Contestants will get first hand insights into simulation technology, and in addition, the three most impressive submission will be awarded with a fully functional prototype of their drone design as well as other attractive prizes. Details of the contest are available under:

As the SimScale simulation platform is becoming more and more popular among engineers, the company is focusing on making it as easy as possible for the people who are new to simulation by providing them with trainings, webinars, documentation and other free learning resources. This way, they can learn how to perform simulations in the shortest time possible and make data-driven design decisions early in the development process.
In addition to the free online course for drone simulation, other resources such as documentation, blog articles, public project library, and getting started training videos can be found on the company’s website.
