New York, NY—March 7, 2015— Air Age Media is proud to announce that its new title, RotorDrone Magazine, is a media sponsor of the first ever Drone Film Festival and will be attending the event Saturday, March 7th at 6:30 pm. The New York Drone Film Festival is the world’s first event dedicated to the art of drone cinematography. RotorDrone Magazine is thrilled to attend as well as be a part of this major breakthrough for aerial cinematography.
Director, landscape photographer, and aerial cinematographer Randy Scott Slavin founded the festival in 2014 with a desire to change the perceptions of drones. “I’m tired of drones being synonymous with questionable legality and FAA regulation. I want to celebrate the art of aerial cinematography.” The Drone Film Festival provides a platform for aerial filmmakers to showcase their work shot from all over the world.
