Just in time for the holidays, here’s a multirotor for the masses! The latest from AR.Drone, the Bebop can be controlled by your mobile device and comes with four WiFi antennae. Note to Santa: we’ve been really, REALLY good this year!!
Building upon the success and technology of their popular AR.Drone 2.0 consumer flying device, the Parrot Bebop Drone is the latest in mobile and imaging technology. Featuring a full 1080p HD camera with 3-axis digital stabilization, users will feel as if they are in the clouds themselves.Equipped with a 14 mega pixels fish-eye camera, the Parrot Bebop Drone takes
video and pictures of the world in a 180° field with remarkable image quality.
The Bebop features 4 Wi-Fi antennas for improved connection with your mobile device, as well as integrated GPS positioning allowing the Bebop Drone to perform autonomous flight patterns and automatically return to the take-off position. Additionally, the Bebop Drone can utilize Parrot’s new Skycontroller, extending the Wi-Fi range up to 2 km.
The Parrot Bebop Drone will be available in December 2014, in Blue, Red and Yellow – MSRP: $499USD (with two batteries included) – available at Apple and Best Buy
